Hopkins Homes wins award for new homes in Norwich

Leading East Anglian Housebuilder Hopkins Homes has been celebrating after winning an award in the grouped residential category for their Scholars’ Quarter development on Rosary Road in Norwich, in The Norwich Society’s 2011 Design Awards.
Scholars' Quarter, which features a contemporary mixture of houses and stylish apartments, just a stone's throw from the River Wensum and a short walk from Norwich railway station, was described by the judges as having: “A lively feel to the development and materials are well detailed using a limited palette with a good quality brick used throughout.”
The ceremony was held at Assembly House in Norwich to reward the best architects, contractors and clients across six categories, each receiving either an award or commendation.
Commenting on this latest achievement, James Hopkins, Executive Chairman said “This is fantastic news and I couldn’t be more delighted. I think it’s fair to say that we enjoy an enviable reputation for our traditional family homes but perhaps are not necessarily associated with contemporary schemes and this has given us a great opportunity to demonstrate the skills we have assembled within our highly talented and innovative design team.
New homes at Scholars' Quarter, which are designed to the height of style, combining striking architecture with contemporary interiors, start from £114,995.
