Building beautifully, brick by brick
Since our first fascination with the Bovingdon brick many years ago, we’ve continued to select bricks for their colour and appearance, with many made exclusively for us. We layer texture and depth through varied brick bonds – from traditional Flemish to striking header courses – while contrasting quoins and soldier courses add definition and architectural heft to every elevation.
Beyond brickwork, we integrate render panels, natural stone cills, timber weatherboarding and flint to create facades rich in detail and individuality. By embracing architectural variety and a diverse palette of materials, we create homes with real visual interest – homes that stand apart with craftsmanship you can see and feel.
Window designs with character
We don’t do standard, uniform windows. Instead, we match window designs – from Georgian sliding sashes to casement and porthole windows – to suit each room and architectural style, giving each property its own identity. Bay windows add presence to living spaces, while arched or gabled details bring distinction to key elevations.
Window frames are set back into the brickwork to create subtle shadowing and depth across our façades, while varied proportions and thoughtful positioning enhance the individual character of each home. Inside, you'll find smart polished-chrome handles and catches that feel both contemporary and refined – finishing touches that reflect the same attention to detail we apply to every exterior view.

Our porches and porticoes add dynamism and curb appeal to each home and street scene, creating a sense of arrival that sets the tone before you even step inside. From ornate porches for a countryside aesthetic to Georgian-style pilasters and architraves that frame the doorway with classical elegance, every entrance is thoughtfully designed to suit its setting.

Chimneys that charm
Chimneys and fireplaces are focal points for every home, and we give them the attention they deserve. In our larger homes, we build impressive full-stack chimneys with working fireplaces - rare features in today's new-builds that add architectural presence both inside and out.
We use reclaimed bricks laid in an irregular style, adding cut bricks to give each fireplace a unique, hand-crafted look that feels authentically aged. We've replaced open fires with wood burners, which give out more heat and are reliable, durable and off-grid – combining traditional appeal with modern efficiency to create homes that feel as comforting as they look.
