Hopkins Homes celebrates four national awards for build quality

Four Hopkins Homes developments have been recognised by the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards 2026, celebrating the exceptional care, quality and leadership shown by our site teams in delivering new homes for customers across Bedfordshire and Norfolk.

The annual awards, run by the National House Building Council, are among the most respected accolades in the housebuilding industry. They celebrate site managers who demonstrate exceptional standards of quality, leadership and care throughout the construction of new homes.

This year, thousands of inspections took place across the UK, with just 449 winners selected from a field of 7,500 sites, placing our award-winning site managers among the top 6% nationally.

The Hopkins Homes winners are:

Luke Catchpole at Church Farm, Drayton, Norfolk
Barry Illman at Kingsfleet, Thetford, Norfolk
Martin Boyce at Loddon Rise, Loddon, Norfolk
Andrew Webb at Hopkins Homes at Wixams, Bedfordshire

Their success is a fantastic achievement and reflects the care, craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every Hopkins home.

Recognising quality at every stage

The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards focus on the role of the site manager in delivering homes of exceptional quality. Judging is rigorous, with assessments looking at areas such as consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety.

For customers, this recognition provides confidence that their new home is being built by teams who take pride in doing things properly, from the foundations and first fix through to the final finish.

Behind every award-winning site manager is also a wider team of colleagues, tradespeople and partners working together to deliver homes that customers can feel proud of from the moment they receive their keys.

Continuing a Hopkins Homes legacy

For more than 30 years, Hopkins Homes has built a reputation for creating beautifully crafted homes and distinctive communities across East Anglia. Our approach has always been rooted in quality, care and respect for the places where we build. These awards continue that legacy.

They recognise not only the individuals leading our sites, but also the values that have shaped Hopkins Homes for generations: building carefully, paying attention to the details that matter and creating homes and communities that stand the test of time.

Homes and communities to be proud of

A new home is more than bricks and mortar. It is the start of a new chapter for every customer and a lasting part of the local community. That is why our site teams play such an important role, ensuring every home is built with care, and every development reflects the standards customers expect from Hopkins Homes.

We are incredibly proud of Andrew, Luke, Barry, Martin and their teams for this well-deserved recognition.

Their NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Awards are a testament to their dedication and to the continued Hopkins Homes commitment to building homes and communities we can all be proud of.

Congratulations to all four winners and everyone who has contributed to this outstanding achievement.
