Cycle to School Week with Hopkins Homes – 5th to 9th October 2026
Cycle home with us for refreshments and a free hi-vis snap band
Hopkins Homes is supporting Cycle to School Week by inviting families to visit their local sales office after school.
Drop in on Monday 5th, Thursday 8th or Friday 9th October to enjoy some refreshments and pick up a free hi-vis snap band for the journey home.
There is no need to be looking for a new home. Simply call in after school, meet our friendly Sales Team and collect your snap band while stocks last.
Taking a different route to the school gate
Organised by Bikeability, Cycle to School Week is a national celebration of everyday cycling.
Taking place from Monday 5th to Friday 9th October, the week encourages children, families and schools to discover how enjoyable the school run can be on two wheels.
Cycling to school can help children build confidence and independence while introducing more activity into their day. Choosing to cycle for shorter journeys can also help reduce traffic and congestion around school gates.
Whether your family already cycles regularly or you are thinking about trying it for the first time, Cycle to School Week is an opportunity to give it a go.

A bright addition for the journey home
As the autumn afternoons begin to get darker, we will be giving away hi-vis snap bands that children can wear or attach to their belongings.
They are a simple, colourful addition to a coat, wrist or school bag and can be used throughout the darker months ahead.
Refreshments will also be available, providing an opportunity to pause after the school day before completing your journey home.
When can I visit?
Families can drop into a Hopkins Homes sales office after school on:
- Monday 5th October
- Thursday 8th October
- Friday 9th October
Visit your nearest participating sales office to collect your free hi-vis snap band and enjoy some refreshments with us.

Hi-vis snap bands are available while stocks last. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult when visiting a Hopkins Homes sales office. Snap bands are an additional visibility aid and are not a replacement for suitable cycle lights, clothing or other recommended safety equipment.
