Hopkins Homes has successfully acquired a 16-acre site at Beaulieu, Chelmsford, Essex, and submitted a reserved matters planning application.
The development is expected to consist of 246 new homes, ranging from one-bedroom apartments to five-bedroom detached houses. This development will include a number of affordable homes, including rented and shared ownership, which will be delivered in partnership with a housing association.
Once the final masterplan is completed, work will commence in Summer 2024 and we are looking to have a Showhome available to view in Spring 2025. The first homes are due to be completed in the Spring 2025.

Abbots vale, Bury St Edmunds
