Jamie Howe, site manager at Hopkins Homes’ development Albany Place in Ipswich, has been awarded the ‘Seal of Excellence’ award in the coveted NHBC (National House Building Council) Pride in the Job Awards for 2009. Jamie will now go forward to the next stage of the competition, the overall Regional Award Winner.
This is an outstanding achievement which was awarded to just 22 house building site managers from across the region for building the best quality new homes and managing their sites to an exceptional standard, placing them amongst the top 100 site managers in the UK.
Jamie comments: “The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards are some of the most highly respected accolades in the building industry and I am extremely proud to achieve the ‘Seal of Excellence Award’. My thanks go out to the entire team at Albany Place for their hard work. We are very proud of the high standard of the new homes we continue to produce and look forward to maintaining these high standards as we continue to work together on this and other sites.”
The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards were established in 1980 to improve quality and raise the standard of service to homebuyers. The rigorous year-long selection procedure continues to highlight the importance of excellent site management and recognises those performing to exceptional standards.
