Southwold's location on the Suffolk Heritage Coast means that the town's residents have so much more to enjoy than the town itself. The north Suffolk countryside rich with public footpaths, oak-tree lined lanes, productive arable fields, long stretches of beach, marshes rich with birdlife and heather-covered commons.
Wander inland from the beach or simply step out of your door at Tibby's Triangle and you will find a town with heaps of character.
The centre of town houses Adnams brewery, tucked away behind the famous Swan Hotel, which in turn looks out over the town's small market place.
Many traditional pubs, restaurants and hotels as well as a famous fish and chip shop can be found throughout the town's attractive streets while, down at the harbour, freshly caught fish is available on a regular basis.
